ABOUT US
We are Classified Musicians
Established in 2021, we have provided the Westchester community with many classical music performances. We have performed in venues such as The Bristal Assisted Living in White Plains, the Scarsdale Train Station, and the Scarsdale Public Library.
A major goal of Classified Musicians is to bring classical music to the local community in Scarsdale. One of our main targets is high school students. As students ourselves, we understand that the stress we endure is quite intense, and we aim to alleviate some of the pressure. Every Friday, Classified Musicians hosts a short 20-30 minute concert before school at Scarsdale High School, starting at 7:30. These concerts lend incoming students a distraction from the ever-present pressures of high school and provide aspiring student musicians with performance opportunities. Not only that, but these concerts also bring music to our hard working teachers that deserve a break.
The performers are not limited to Scarsdale High School students. We have had guest performers from nearby schools come by to share their talent! In addition to these short concerts, Classified Musicians has served the community through free music lessons and coaching sessions!
